High school seniors can apply for $500 scholarships
This is one of the many benefits of your co-op membership
Every year Rock Energy Cooperative awards 10 scholarships worth $500 each. Since 1989, the co-op has awarded more than $102,000 in financial aid to deserving students.
Who should apply?
Graduating high school seniors whose parents or guardians are members of Rock Energy are eligible to apply. In other words, you can apply if your household receives electricity and/or natural gas from the co-op. Students also must plan to continue their education at an accredited school.
How are winners selected?
Our independent scholarship committee will judge applicants on general merit, cooperation, leadership abilities, financial need, and class ranking.
How do I apply?
Rock Energy is accepting online applications. You will not be able to stop the application process and return to it at a later date. We suggest you review the application to make sure you have all the required information available before beginning.
What is the deadline?
The deadline for submitting applications is JANUARY 9, 2019.
Who can answer my questions?
If you have any questions, please call Barbara Uebelacker, Rock Energy's communications director, at 866-752-4550 or email her.
